Wednesday’s program will feature a keynote address by Leroy Hood, MD, PhD, the world renowned, award-winning scientist who helped pioneer the DNA gene sequencer. Dr. Hood will speak on “Systems Biology: Emergence of Predictive, Preventive and Personalized Medicine.”

Scientists, engineers, and physicians will discuss emerging innovative technologies in:

  • Convergent therapeutics for vascular disease
  • Angiogenesis and cell-based therapies

Integrated into Thursday’s Main Session program are afternoon roundtables where provocative moderators will challenge expert panels for stimulating group discussions in:

  • Percutaneous valve intervention
  • Noninvasive cardiovascular imaging

Noninvasive Imaging Symposium
Wednesday, August 1st
