SIS 2009
7th Annual Cardiology Nurse/Tech Symposium
An Update on Interventional Cardiology and
Cardiovascular Surgery

SIS is proud to announce that, utilizing the Seattle Science Foundation Bioskill’s Lab, we have the opportunity to make hands-on teaching methods an integral part of the SIS Cardiology Nurse/Tech Symposium.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • work with expert faculty who will assist them with anatomical review and dissection of pig hearts
  • observe demonstrations of various interventional and cardiac procedures using cadaveric specimens (including aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement; various device deployments-coronary stents, PFO, ASD; and various treatments of carotid stenosis)
  • view cadaveric hearts in different stages of cardiovascular disease

Registration is available for cardiovascular nurses, ARNPs,
PA-Cs, cath lab technologists, and allied healthcare professionals who manage cardiovascular patients.

To maximize interaction between faculty and attendees, space in each track is limited.
