SIS 2009 Cardiology Nurse/Tech Symposium

The 7th Annual SIS Cardiology Nurse/Tech Symposium offers a comprehensive, in-depth educational experience for cardiology nurses, ARNPs, PA-Cs, cath lab technicians, and other allied health care professionals who manage cardiovascular patients in the cath lab, operating room, ICU, CCU, telemetry and other associated areas.

New to SIS 2009

This year, two separate tracks have been developed, one track focusing on the cardiovascular surgical patient and one track focusing on the interventional cardiology patient.  Each track will include didactic lectures, a hands-on cadaveric BioSkills lab, and case presentations and review by a panel of cardiovascular surgeons and interventional cardiologists.  In the Bioskills lab, attendees will have the opportunity to work with local expert faculty who will review cardiac anatomy and physiology, demonstrate different cardiac procedures and surgical techniques, as well as observe human cadaveric hearts in various stages of cardiovascular disease.

We hope you will take this opportunity to learn about the latest advances in devices, technologies, and therapies, to congregate with your colleagues, share clinical experiences, and exchange new ideas and information, which are essential for the proper care and treatment of the cardiovascular patient.

Welcome to SIS 2009!
